Kampa (Modern Art) Museum

This building faces Charles Bridge--one of our first walks in Prague. (Did I mention the wet, cold and wind?)  Hector took the photo to capture all the saints on the top.

I took the kids to the Kampa Museum on a day it was supposed to be free. Surprise! It wasn't free, but well worth the 280 crowns ($18). Outside the museum are some sculptures by Czech absurdist artist David Cerny--posted here and below. These sculptures are all over Prague; the babies are most famous climbing up the side of the huge t.v. tower in our neighborhood. (Will post that later...)

This character (stationed on the steps of the old castle) was very accommodating. He danced with G and P--and they gave him a few crowns. He's a little creepy, if you ask me--but it didn't seem to bother them.
